The Indian Telly Awards was held the other night and let me tell you, there were a lot of cheap satin and big hair that night.

Who was there? The only one that I recognize is Rani. Has she moved from movies to TV permanently or is this just 'they needed a starstudded name'-kind of thing? Am I the only one worried about the 6 year-old at the party, isn't she too young?

The crapfest known as 'All the best' gets 3,5/5 stars.

The same source who gave us that information has now told us that Brandy was never actually approached for the role and she is just someone they are considering. Shah Rukh Khan was detained in Newark Airport in the US, because his surname is on the alert list of US officals since te 9/11 attacks. He was at the Indian Independence Day event, the guest of honor ofcourse. It wasn't until MP Rajiv Shukla from the Indian Congress intervened, that he was released.

Oh, the irony. SRK is starring in a movie called "My name is Khan", which coincidentally (or is it?) is about gettin' detained cause his name is Khan.

They asked him a gazillon questions about his visit and his handbaggage as checked. He couldn't evue the phone for an hour. Omg, I would die if I didn't have my phone!

In a statement given to a news daily, SRK said, “I told them I was a movie star and had recently visited the country for the shooting of my film. Nothing seemed to convince the immigration officer. There were other immigration officers who even vouched for me but this particular officer did not listen to anyone. I even told them I had an invitation from the South Asian community and was there to attend an event.”

Shiney Ahuja, the guys with the weird name, who's mostly seen in Kangana Ranaut movies has been arrested for raping his maid. The maid claims he gagged her and raped her while the Mrs was out of the home. Shiney claims the maid was in on it. The fact that he admits he did sleep with her even though he's married qualifies as enough proof for me that he's trying to hide something worse.

Freida Pinto was the only desi who got in the top ten on "FHM's 100 Sexiest Women In The World '09"-list. But this is the UK version of the magazine , so it's really not a surprise that she got on it. Because desis are a mayjaaah minority in the UK. Apparently people around "the globe" voted and first place went to Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole. Earlier this year she got 4th place in "hollywood's sexiest woman"-poll and 9th on Entertainment Weekly's list.

The real question is that can she hold on to the fame she's quite recently gained and show the people some great acting? I hope she doesn't end up like Meagn Fox, and by that I mean constantly do sequels to movies which contain illiterate talking alien robots who fight with other talking alien robots and who turns into pretty sweet rides (except the skinny one that is really annoying in the first movie).

We'll just have to wait and see...
