Aishwarya Rai and Meryl Streep will co-star in the Hollywood adaption of Chaos (2001). The original was a french film directed by Colin Serreau.

Aishwarya will play a prostitute. She will be a pretty prostitute, not the ugly kind.

The film focuses on the disruptions that result when a young prostitute accidentally intrudes into the lives of a middle class modern couple. Hounded, threatened, beaten, the prostitute struggles for her survival, her resurrection, her dignity, and freedom.
