What? Noooo. Without that pretty face, he wont have a career. He's getting into the "serious actor"-mode again. It's gone so far that he gets hurt during filming. Leave that stuff to the professionals and by professionals I mean stuntdouble. Since he's gonna do it anyway, he has to make sure he only hurts the body not the face.
