CC2C: post premier

CC2C has gotten into some trouble in Nepal. The movie contains a historical/geographical inaccuracy about the birthplace of Gautham Buddha. He was born in Lumbini, south of Nepal, in 623 BC. This has led to protests and people demanding to stop screening the film.

What the hell, take it easy. It's just a movie, everything is fictional. It's a movie about a person, who doesn't exist, and he can do things that are impossible in reality.

Hollywood makes tons of mistakes and nobody bothers to make a huge fuss out of it. Example 300, Gladiator, U-571, Braveheart and so on. Come to think of it, it's hard to name a Hollywood movie where everything is accurate.

i Knew it!

The first reviews are in for Chandni Chowk To China, and guess what?! IT SUCKS! This was just so predicted that I'm not a tiny bit surprised. Akki sure has a talent for choosing films with all style and no substance. When was the last time we saw him in a good movie? He can kiss his never-existing-king-of-bollywood-crown good-bye.

He ain't playin!

Looks like CCTC won't be all comedy. In this promo Akki is seen using his fighting skills with perfection! Reminds me of Tekken or some other fighting game. We love it!

Tacky Outfits

A concert named 'From Chandni Chowk to Hong Kong' was held this week to promote Akki's new movie. Don't ask me why but Priyanka Chopra and Amisha Patel performed on the event. Deepika was probably busy so the organizers had to call in two bootleg Deepikas. I really hope this movie is as good as it is being hyped.

Stealing hearts

Here are some pics of Imran Khan stealing a few hearts at K J Somaiya College in Mumbai. He's a playa, I wonder how his girlfriend takes it.

And some pics of Deepika stealing our hearts. She's looking fab, even thought she's just wearing a plain shirt and a pair of jeans.

China is Fierce

Photobucket

Now here we have some stills worth posting here. 'Chandni Chowk To China' looks so HOT. Or is it Deepika looking HOT? She's so cool and has only been in two movies. I'm glad we finally got a heroine worth the spot as 'the next big thing'. Who knows...maybe she's the successor of Madhuris Dixit that we've all been waiting for. Moving on...Akki sure is working different beard-styles in every single movie. This moustasche looks ferosh! Work it!

Trailer Update

I've been waiting like crazy for the 'Fashion' trailer and now it's finally here! Looks interesting but where's the fashion? Sparkly clothes does not equal fashion! Anyways Priyanka 'Black Gums' Chopra and Kangana 'Anorecta' Ranaut are shown crying a lot in the trailer and that's always a good sign.

Another trailer that has been released is 'Chandni Chwok to China'. Now this movie has all the fashion that 'Fashion' lacks. Deepika is the hotness! The bangs are totally working for her. Akshay rarely goes wrong with his acting or looks so there's no need to comment on that. I shouldn't be getting my hopes up though cuz Bollywood always have fierce trailers but the movies usually suck big time.

Chandni Chowk to China

Chandni Chowk to China is said to be released October 29th later this year. The movie is starring Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. Akshay's character is a chef, who's mistaken for a martial arts expert. I don't know much about Deepikas role, but it's said that she'll be playing double roles in this movie.

Maybe that should be her signature, to play double roles in every movie she's in (of course I'm refering to Om shanti om). Every actor in Bollywood has a signature, Saif Ali Khan is always the muscular guy with the squeky voice. Like nails on a chalkboard. Eeiiik.
